Adult Anime Titles for a Mature Audience
The adult anime titles I’m talking about aren’t Hentai, but rather anime series more suitable for a mature audience. I’m talking about complex, serious anime with great characters and deep plot, not the shounen formula most people are used to. I’m talking about anime titles that make us think, that we can actually discuss things other than “who is the strongest character?“, “which power is the coolest?!” Not that I’m all against shounen, not at all. Although I’m not fond of the modern shounen trinity, Saint Seiya and Yu Yu Hakusho are and will forever be two of my all-time favorites.
It’s just that, how can I express it… I kind of grew up and I’m not into the get beaten > train > take revenge infinite loop anymore. Now I’m all about romance, drama and dark themes. (Althought I confess I’m watching Eyeshield 21 because Hiruma makes it just way too fun to watch!).
Anyways, In this series I will try to give some good recommendations of adult anime titles for a mature audience who wants to get away from the shounen stuff. Oh, and before anyway notices; no I didn’t forget Akira , Ghost In The Shell and the mind-fucking Evangelion, I just didn’t feel like listing them in the series because I feel they are already well known and they are like some of the first names that come to mind when one stop to think about it.
In the next post of this series I’ll list some good thrillers, and then I might go for some romance and drama!

i am searching for some mature yuri anime. i have already watched mnemosyne which is totally mature and there is alot of lesbian sex. i really liked it. so iwant one of those kind of mature yuri anime
